Job summary

The Address Connolly is seeking a Financial Controller to join its management team in Ireland. You will oversee the day-to-day Finance office, drive financial analysis, reporting and control programs, and support operational teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will lead monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow management and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Five years of accounting experience, preferably in hotel operations.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong knowledge of finance, budgeting and control processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with hotel IT systems and ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts accurately and timely.
• Reconcile balance sheet and ensure supporting documentation.
• Monitor P&L and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Oversee cash flow, payroll and supplier payments.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and financial planning.
• Support external audit and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop accounting staff and maintain internal controls.
• Advise MD of Finance on financial issues.
