Job summary

Barden | B Corp in West Dublin is seeking a Financial Controller to own day-to-day controllership as the business scales. You will lead month-end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance and internal controls while guiding a small finance team through change.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will partner with operations, IT and commercial leaders, ensuring robust controls and accurate financial statements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 3 years PQE.
• Irish tax compliance experience is essential.
• Experience leading a small finance team in industry.
• Strong ERP skills (SAP) and advanced Excel; Power BI familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close including management accounts and board pack.
• Lead preparation of annual statutory financial statements and external audit.
• Own Irish tax compliance (VAT, Intrastat, CT) and related filings.
• Supervise AP/AR, cash forecasting, treasury and FX management.
• Design and embed robust internal controls framework and segregation of duties.
• Coordinate with outsourced payroll controls and reporting.
• Directly manage Financial Accountant, Accounts Assistant and Credit Controller.
• Collaborate with FPA, operations, IT and commercial leaders as finance partner.
