Job summary

3D Personnel is seeking a Financial Controller in County Donegal, on-site, to lead the finance function and partner with senior leadership on strategic decisions. You will manage monthly accounts, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, while driving cash flow, controls and process improvements across the business.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in a Financial Controller/Finance leadership role, strong commercial acumen, excellent analytical skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Senior Management Accounting roles.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to influence decisions.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
• Delivering timely financial reporting to support business decisions
• Managing cash flow and working capital requirements
• Ensuring tax and statutory compliance obligations are met
• Overseeing and developing the internal finance team
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function
• Supporting business growth initiatives and commercial projects
• Liaising with auditors, banks and external advisors
• Maintaining robust financial controls and governance procedures
• Providing financial analysis and performance reporting to senior management
• Undertaking ad hoc projects and duties as required
