Job summary

Tennis Ireland is seeking a Finance Director to join the Senior Leadership Team at the Head Office on the Sport Ireland Campus in Blanchardstown, Dublin. The role requires driving financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and regulatory compliance aligned to the organisation’s strategy.

The successful candidate will lead a finance team, enhance controls, and contribute to strategic growth while coordinating with the CEO and board on major event P&Ls such as the Irish Open and Davis Cup.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience (5+ years).
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards and tax laws.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and statutory compliance to Irish standards.
• Oversee payroll, pensions, and regulatory filings.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and liquidity.
• Provide strategic financial analysis for senior management.
• Mentor the finance team and oversee departmental performance reviews.
