Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Consultant, Business Management to lead financial planning, workforce capacity planning and performance support for Transfer Agency and AML. You will partner with TA & AML leaders, drive insights, manage budgets and headcount, and enable data‑driven decisions across Finance, HR and Operations.

The role emphasizes reporting automation, strategic guidance and collaboration with regional leaders to improve efficiency and effectiveness in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in financial planning, workforce management and management reporting.
• Experience supporting and influencing senior leadership.
• Transfer Agency/ AML experience will be advantageous, but relevant experience in business management, financial services, operations or finance of 5+ years' will be considered.
• This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial plan, forecasts and budget delivery for Transfer Agency & AML.
• Manage FTE targets, capacity plans and third‑party expenditure.
• Develop dashboards and management information for regional decision‑making.
• Provide senior leadership with clear analysis, commentary and actionable recommendations.
• Improve reporting through automation, enhanced analytics and AI opportunities.
