Archer in Ireland seeks a Procurement & Commercial Specialist to support a major national fibre infrastructure programme. The role offers a long-term contract with strong extension potential and a hybrid work pattern (2 days on-site).

You will lead sourcing strategies, manage RFQs/RFPs, and negotiate terms to deliver best value across fibre and specialist services, collaborating with Project, Engineering and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience, ideally in a project-driven environment.
• Experience managing tenders through evaluation, negotiation and supplier awards.
• Commercial confidence in assessing proposals and identifying value opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Challenge stakeholder requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
• Research supplier markets, benchmark pricing and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Manage RFQs and RFPs from supplier engagement through bid evaluation and negotiation.
• Assess competing proposals, compare pricing and terms.
• Negotiate commercial agreements to secure stronger value.
