Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a motivated Construction Services Procurement Category Manager for the EMEA data center construction space. You will lead a Procurement Change programme, streamline vendor relationships, and drive efficiency through data-driven insights.

Collaboration with Construction and Procurement teams is essential to reduce costs and improve performance. Ideal candidates will have a consulting or change-management background, strong supply chain and procurement skills,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations.
Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis.
Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a Procurement Change programme for the EMEA data center construction space.
Streamline vendor relationships, focusing on tier 2 and tier 3 vendors and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Mitigate bottlenecks in the procurement process and apply lessons learned to enhance efficiency.
Drive results through data analysis and market trends to increase procurement impact and reduce costs.
