Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement (ISCaP) is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to create and implement sourcing strategies for complex services categories and collaborate with internal partners and suppliers to reduce risks and costs for Amazon.

You will drive results through competitive bidding, negotiations and data analysis, while building global processes and tools to improve procurement across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in data analysis using Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies for complex services categories and drive cost reductions.
• Lead supplier selection processes across multiple categories, regions and teams.
• Create supplier scorecards and track performance for delivery, quality and cost.
• Collaborate with internal partners to influence priorities and manage risks.
