Job summary

Darwin Hawkins is seeking a Senior Credit Risk & Banking Manager in Dublin to join a growing professional services team serving major banks and financial institutions. You will lead credit risk and loan quality engagements, support regulatory reviews, and advise on strategic banking projects.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in credit risk and lending, a solid grasp of regulatory expectations, and the ability to manage stakeholders and delivery timelines across multiple assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk and lending within banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with Central Bank/ECB or regulatory inspections.
• Solid understanding of banking governance, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of AML, KYC and Financial Crime controls.

Responsibilities

• Credit Risk – work on credit risk, lending and loan quality assignments.
• Regulatory Reviews – support financial institutions through regulatory inspections and reviews.
• Banking Projects – advise clients on strategic and operational banking initiatives.
• Loan Reviews – assess loan quality, lending processes and related risk controls.
• Financial Crime – support projects involving AML, KYC and related matters.
• AUP Reviews – deliver agreed-upon procedures and related review assignments.
• Project Management – lead engagements from planning to delivery.
• Team Development – mentor and develop junior team members.
