Job summary

Kenny-Whelan is hiring a Management & Cost Accountant to support cost and performance analysis on LV switchgear and data centre projects from our Citywest HQ. You will own standard costing, BOM costing updates, overhead allocation, and P&L reporting by cost centre, with SAP as the primary ERP and Power BI for insights.

The role partners with Project Managers and Operations to drive value. You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting and ensure alignment with revenue recognition for long-term

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred.
• 3–5 years of cost or management accounting experience.
• Experience with standard costing, overhead allocation and absorption costing.
• Experience with BOM costing and WIP accounting.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, energy, or data centre environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain standard cost cards for products and services.
• Develop BOM costing for manufactured and assembled units.
• Design and communicate overhead allocation and absorption costing rates.
• Perform cost reviews to reflect current operations and market reality.
• Support make vs. buy decisions with financial analysis.
