Job summary

Barden, in partnership with a European business headquartered in Cork, is recruiting a Senior Change Manager on a 12-month daily-rate contract to lead organisational change across a major transformation programme. Six workstreams are live: ERP, project and portfolio tooling, process redesign, governance and reporting, AI adoption, and a new data platform.

The change discipline does not yet exist and must be built from scratch.

Qualifications

• Has built or substantially tailored a change approach, not just operated one someone else designed.
• Led change across concurrent programmes with competing priorities.
• Landed large system and process change, and the adoption that has to follow it.
• Worked across cultures and geographies, with real evidence of navigating resistance.
• Has the credibility, and the personality, to hold a straight conversation with an executive team.
• Certifications such as Prosci, APMG, or CCMP welcome, as are PRINCE2, PMI, MSP, or Agile. What you have delivered matters more here than what you are certified in.

Responsibilities

• Build the change approach from scratch: framework, standards, templates, governance, and decision rights.
• Own the portfolio change roadmap across all six workstreams.
• Hold the change saturation view, with the mandate to tell project managers and the executive team when something has to move.
• Run impact and readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption planning across concurrent workstreams.
• Lead the change champion network and build capability through coaching and communities of practice.
• Equip sponsors, and address resistance across multiple countries rather than working around it.
• Define outcome-based measures, build portfolio reporting, and feed lessons learned back into governance.
