Job summary

Noel Group is recruiting a Temporary Stores Person for Athlone, Co. Westmeath. In a busy retail and distribution setting you will manage stock, support warehouse operations and assist customers.

Hours are 39 per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, with a focus on safety and accuracy in stock handling. The role offers exposure to a well-established organisation and ongoing team support.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stores experience is essential.
• Forklift licence and experience are highly desirable.
• Physically fit, comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, approachable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Receive, check and store incoming stock in designated locations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores area.
• Carry out stock handling and inventory-related duties.
• Operate a forklift when required.
• Assist customers collecting goods and provide a high level of customer service.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and manual handling practices.
• Work proactively as part of a busy branch team.

Noel Group are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary Stores Person based in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy retail and distribution environment where you will play a key role in stock management, warehouse operations, and customer service.
