Job summary

Skechers is hiring an Assistant Manager for our Crescent store, a hub in the Irish Skechers network following its Henry Street launch. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, mentor staff, and contribute to merchandising, customer service, and HR initiatives.

You will help meet sales targets, manage inventory, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Prior experience at Supervisor/Assistant Manager level.
• Leadership and team education skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule.
• Exceptional interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform various floor activities and lift/carry goods.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in overseeing daily activities.
• Mentor and oversee store employees.
• Cover store operations in the manager's absence.
• Collaborate on merchandising, customer service, HR.
• Report on daily operations and aid recruitment and sales planning.
• Maintain inventory levels and health & safety compliance.
• Ensure shop looks appealing and address customer issues.
