Job summary

Skechers is hiring an Assistant Manager for our Crescent store, a hub in the Irish Skechers network following its Henry Street launch. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, mentor staff, and contribute to merchandising, customer service, and HR initiatives.

You will help meet sales targets, manage inventory, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Prior experience at Supervisor/Assistant Manager level.
• Leadership and team education skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule.
• Exceptional interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform various floor activities and lift/carry goods.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in overseeing daily activities.

Join the Skechers revolution at our Crescent store as an ASSISTANT MANAGER! Since making our mark on Henry Street in 2010, Skechers has grown to 26 stores across Ireland and Northern Ireland, and we're still expanding. Responsibilities

• Assisting the store manager in overseeing all daily activities
• Mentoring and overseeing store employees as directed by the Store Manager
• Assuming full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
• Collaborating on daily operations, including merchandising, customer service, and human resources
• Reporting on daily operations and assisting in the creation of recruitment and sales strategies
• Maintaining optimal shop inventory levels and ensuring compliance with health and safety laws
• Keeping the store aesthetically pleasant and addressing customer issues efficiently
• Supporting clients and troubleshooting as needed
• Owning and contributing to store sales targets
• Additional tasks as directed by upper management

Requirements
