Job summary

Intersport Elverys in Ireland seeks a Store Manager to lead overall store operations and drive sales performance. You will ensure the right people and products are in place to meet company expectations and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

The role requires 2–3 years in retail management, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with SAP and Excel. You will manage cash and budgets, champion visual merchandising and health & safety, and provide cover across stores as

Qualifications

• 2/3 years retail management experience (dependent on store grade).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer experience and its impact on sales.
• Visual Merchandising experience desirable.
• Proficient IT knowledge including Excel, Email, SAP.
• 3rd Level Business/Retail Management Qualification beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day store operations including sales, staff, customer experience, security, health & safety, stock and resources.
• Meet and exceed store targets and KPIs.
• Recruit, train, coach and manage staff in line with company policies.
• Manage cash, wage costs, budgets and systems administration as required (TMS, SAP).
• Drive excellent Visual Merchandising to engage and educate the consumer.
• Ensure in-store services are staffed and promoted (e.g. Safesize, Assisted Selling).
• Be security conscious in store and stock rooms and protect stock from pilferage.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and staff training.
• Identify current and future customer requirements & develop additional non-direct business.
• Ensure successful implementation of projects in line with company expectations.
• Deliver excellent store standards in line with audit requirements.
• Key holder and main call-out person in alarm activation.
• Provide cover for other stores as required.
