Job summary

River Island in Galway seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead a busy store team and deliver a world-class shopping experience. You will drive sales, analyse reports, conduct floor walks and delegate effectively to ensure the store meets its targets.

You will recruit and develop talent, manage payroll and stock controls, and communicate trade feedback to enhance store performance. A track record in store leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing store KPI's including sales, payroll, controllable costs, stock loss and service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills across all levels.
• Experience at Store Manager level or deputy manager ready to step up.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and maximise store profitability through high standards of store layout, reporting and competitor analysis.
• Lead by example to deliver world-class customer service and upsell across all areas of the store.
• Recruit, train and coach the store team to develop future managers.
• Control payroll, labour efficiency and stock to minimise loss and maximise profit.
• Communicate trade feedback to senior management and implement actions to improve performance.
