Job summary

LJRecruitment is helping a leading international retailer recruit an experienced Store Manager for a Galway location. You will take responsibility for day-to-day operations, drive commercial performance and lead a team to deliver exceptional service while achieving targets.

You will recruit, train and coach staff, monitor stock and promotions, and focus on customer experience to grow sales in a dynamic Galway store.

Salary: £30,536 per annum + monthly bonus

The Opportunity

We are working with a leading international retailer within the hair and beauty industry to recruit an experienced Store Manager for their Galway location.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused retail leader who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, developing high-performing teams and driving sales growth.

You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the Galway store, leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional service, achieve targets and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the store team to achieve individual and business objectives.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and performance.
• Identify talent and support employee development and succession planning.
• Create a positive, motivated and customer-focused team environment.
• Drive sales performance and achieve store targets and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales, attract new customers and build customer relationships.
• Monitor competitor activity and local market trends within the Galway area.
• Deliver marketing campaigns and maximise promotional opportunities.

Customer Experience

• Champion excellent customer service and maintain high service standards.

Store Operations
