Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a busy Stepaside convenience store in Dublin. You will drive sales, manage stock, and develop the team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has prior Store Manager or strong Assistant Manager experience, strong people-management skills, and a hands-on, organised approach with ownership of store performance, costs, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Store Manager or strong Assistant Manager experience.
• Grocery, convenience or forecourt retail experience preferred.
• Strong commercial and people-management skills.
• Confident managing a busy, high-volume operation.
• Hands-on, organised and comfortable taking full ownership of the store.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall day-to-day running of the store.
• Lead, motivate and develop the store team.
• Drive sales, margins and overall store performance.
• Manage stock, ordering, waste and availability.
• Oversee rosters, payroll and staffing levels.
• Maintain strong standards across fresh food and the shop floor.
• Manage KPIs, costs and operational targets.
• Ensure food safety, health & safety and company procedures are maintained.

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to take the lead of a busy convenience retail store in Stepaside, Dublin.
