Job summary

GRACIES BAR CARLOW is seeking a Maintenance and Stores person to join our team. The role involves receiving deliveries, stock control, and performing routine maintenance across the premises.

The ideal candidate will assist with storage, stock rotation, and keeping storerooms clean and compliant with hygiene standards. This is a full-time, in-person position with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and stores roles preferred.
• Ability to manage stock and deliveries with attention to hygiene standards.
• Comfort with using power and hand tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive drink deliveries and check goods received.
• Liaise with suppliers and management about deliveries and stock discrepancies.
• Organise stock rotation and keep storerooms clean and tidy.
• Stock bars to agreed levels with management.
• Lift kegs, bar furniture and move items as required by managers.
• Carry out routine maintenance and report issues to supervisory staff.

Would you like to join our award winning company? GRACIES BAR CARLOW is looking to recruit a Maintenance and stores person to join our team

The ideal candidate will be required to

• Receive drink deliveries to the bar and checking the goods received
• Liaising with suppliers and management about deliveries and any discrepancies in stock
• Organise stock rotation and keep storerooms clean and tidy within the company hygiene standards.
• Stock the bars to the levels agreed with the management.
• Lift empty beer kegs from the store rooms and organise stock rotation of the kegs on delivery days.
• Lift /move bar furniture if requested by management.
• Carry out various day to day maintenance procedures as requested by manager/ supervisors
• Inspect the building, grounds, and equipment and handle any necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Comply with all company safety regulations.
• Report any issues to the manager
• Respond to repair and maintenance requests from management in a timely fashion.
• Use equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €29,750.00-€34,000.00 per year
