Job summary

GRACIE'S BAR in Carlow, Ireland, is hiring a Maintenance and Stores person to join our team. The role covers receiving deliveries, stock rotation, and routine maintenance to keep the bar and storerooms clean and organized.

Responsibilities include liaising with suppliers, stocking the bars, and carrying out repairs under supervision. The successful candidate will help ensure safety standards and timely responses to repair requests.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and deliveries preferred.
• Ability to liaise with suppliers and management on deliveries and discrepancies.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive drink deliveries and check goods received.
• Organise stock rotation and maintain storerooms within hygiene standards.
• Stock bars to levels agreed with management.
• Move light bar furniture and assist with maintenance tasks as directed.
• Inspect building, grounds, and equipment and report issues.
• Use power and hand tools for repairs as needed.

Would you like to join our award winning company? GRACIES BAR CARLOW is looking to recruit a Maintenance and stores person to join our team

The ideal candidate will be required to

• Receive drink deliveries to the bar and checking the goods received
• Liaising with suppliers and management about deliveries and any discrepancies in stock
• Organise stock rotation and keep storerooms clean and tidy within the company hygiene standards.
• Stock the bars to the levels agreed with the management.
• Lift empty beer kegs from the store rooms and organise stock rotation of the kegs on delivery days.
• Lift /move bar furniture if requested by management.
• Carry out various day to day maintenance procedures as requested by manager/ supervisors
• Inspect the building, grounds, and equipment and handle any necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Comply with all company safety regulations.
• Report any issues to the manager
• Respond to repair and maintenance requests from management in a timely fashion.
• Use equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €30,000.00-€34,000.00 per year
