Job summary

Intersport Elverys in Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our store team. You will support daily operations, help customers, and deliver a warm, personal service by knowing our products and promotions.

Candidates must be fully flexible for midweek and weekend rostering, including Sundays. You will assist management, handle cash, manage stock, and uphold Visual Merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years retail experience required.
• Available to work Sundays.
• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Open/close store and end-of-day procedures.
• Assign tasks to staff and ensure procedures are followed.
• Provide personal and positive service to every customer.
• Know product catalogue and current promotions.
• Engage with customers to recommend products and optimise sales.
• Maintain Visual Merchandising standards in-store.
• Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with deliveries and stock management.
• Support management in daily operations.
