Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer P2 to join its Galway site on a permanent basis. The role focuses on daily operational support in Ethylene Oxide Sterilization while driving improvement projects and process optimisations.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years in Materials/Engineering, hands-on EO sterilization experience, and strong technical, communication and teamwork skills. The position includes cross-functional collaboration and compliance with EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in Materials/Engineering.
• Experience with Ethylene Oxide sterilization systems and cycle validations is advantageous.
• Excellent technical capabilities, communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.
• Hands-on experience in medical device, electrical, sterilization or mechanical field is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Ethylene Oxide Sterilization area with daily operations and improvement projects.
• Develop, troubleshoot, standardise, and improve existing production methods and procedures.
• Lead equipment improvements and new cycle projects; train technician population.
