Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Graduate Engineer on a defined-term (23 months) basis to join our Clonmel team. This role offers hands-on experience across operations, new product development, or sustaining engineering within a collaborative environment.

You will learn from experienced colleagues, contribute to medical technologies and build skills while delivering quality and process improvements in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or science (Level 8) is essential.
• Graduated within the past two years or currently in the final year of university.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Relevant work experience or completion of a co‑op program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the initiative to contribute in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Build quality into all aspects of your work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
• Assist in defining and implementing quality standards and specifications and help ensure corporate and regulatory requirements are met.
• Identify and resolve moderately complex exceptions to work assignments.
• Participate, as required, in new product and technology transfers to gain valuable experience and exposure.
• Apply knowledge of Six Sigma, statistical analysis and Lean principles to investigate and solve problems and improve quality.
• Demonstrate familiarity with validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements, including the analysis of customer feedback and complaints.
• Understand and proactively support environmental management requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional team members to support day‑to‑day operating requirements.
• Demonstrate best practices aligned with department and site objectives.
