Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Station Architect to support the Civil and Trackwork Manager (International) in all technical activities related to architectural design and construction for stations, depot buildings and associated facilities. The role focuses on coordinating design reviews, interface with contractors, and ensuring adherence to the Design Management Plan.

The candidate will review architectural design packages, monitor RCS, and support site activities including audits and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in architectural design review and construction supervision.
• Good knowledge of station and depot architecture, including functional layouts, evacuation principles, finishes and detailing.
• Experience in reviewing technical and construction documentation and supporting the resolution of architectural issues on site.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work with clients, contractors, designers and other project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the review of architectural design, including functional layouts, PCCC evacuation principles, architectural finishes and detailing.
• Carry out design reviews when required, prepare Review Comment Sheets (RCS) and provide technical comments.
• Monitor and update the list of RCS issued by the Lead Consultant and follow up the issuance of design packages to ensure reviews are completed on time.
• Coordinate with VSP, SGC, contractors and designers to resolve design review issues and support the issuance of SONO.
• Contribute to the update and finalization of the Design Management Plan and monitor compliance with the defined design management processes.
• Liaise with the external ICE when required.
• Support Lead Consultant construction supervision activities, including site audits, hold points and resolution of site issues.
• Review construction documentation, including method statements, ITPs and review forms, and monitor compliance with the Construction Management Plan.
• Report any non-compliance with construction management or HSE processes to the relevant stakeholders.
• Organize and participate in design and construction meetings with the client, contractors and designers, prepare MoM and follow up action plans.
• Contribute to overall project reporting, including weekly meetings, monthly reports and the risk register.

Context

SYSTRA is the Lead Consultant for the HSR project between Ho Chi Minh City and Can Gio.
