Job summary

SYSTRA, a leading engineering and consultancy group, seeks a Track Engineer to join the team on-site in Vietnam. You will conduct comprehensive technical reviews of trackwork designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements and international standards, while coordinating interfaces with civil structures and railway systems.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Railway/Civil Engineering with 8–10 years of civil/rail experience, including 5+ years in track design/review for HSR/MRT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Railway or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years civil/railway experience, 5+ in track design/review for HSR/MRT.
• Experience with ballastless track (slab), CWR; EN/UIC standards; VN standards a plus.
• Excellent English; Vietnamese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical design review of trackwork designs and submissions.
• Coordinate interfaces between trackwork, civil structures, and railway systems.
• Ensure High-Speed Rail designs meet applicable regulations and standards.
• Identify risks, propose mitigations, and lead progress reviews.
• Prepare terms of references and review tender documents for trackwork.
• Provide technical advisory support to client and contractors.
