Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a Network Operations Technician (Starlink) to operate the growing Starlink network and scale to millions of users. You will respond to real-time events, triage anomalies, and support engineering teams to root-cause issues across satellites, ground stations, and interconnects.

You will manage changes to improve uptime, work with partners, and ensure minimal downtime while advancing operational processes in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in troubleshooting and operating computer systems in a network, IT, or security setting (NOC/SOC/DC)
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity or STEM discipline
• Industry recognized technical certifications preferred (Network+, Security+, CCNA, JNCIA)
• Experience with debugging complex systems using data analysis
• Basic software experience in Python, SQL, Bash or similar languages

Responsibilities

• Detect and triage emerging anomalies on satellites, ground stations, terrestrial network interop and interconnections
• Provide centralized awareness and management of routine and emergency maintenance
• Execute rapid incident response for major network disruptions
• Own investigation, troubleshooting and resolution for common network issues
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex escalations with internal teams
• Measure, preserve, and improve uptime and performance of the Starlink Network
• Follow and improve processes for operating the Starlink Network
