Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
SpaceXSI is seeking a Network Operations Technician (Starlink) to operate the growing Starlink network and scale to millions of users. You will respond to real-time events, triage anomalies, and support engineering teams to root-cause issues across satellites, ground stations, and interconnects.
You will manage changes to improve uptime, work with partners, and ensure minimal downtime while advancing operational processes in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars. SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.
As a Network Operations Technician, you will be directly responsible for operating the growing Starlink Network as we scale to millions of users around the globe as well as the world largest SuperCompute Datacenter Networks. You will execute operational response to real-time network events and anomalies – mitigating their impact before significant service degradation occurs. You will facilitate incident response, engaging and supporting engineering teams to triage and resolve major issues. You will work with engineers across disciplines and external partners to ensure that all problems are root-caused and mitigated to prevent future recurrence. You will manage changes and maintenance required to improve and sustain service for users, while ensuring minimal network downtime. As an embedded operator within the NOC you will work with operations engineering to improve operational processes, increase operational efficiency, and maximize operational capabilities.
Must be available for day time on-shift rotations and weekends as needed.
