Job summary

Cowper Care Centre DAC is seeking applications for the role Staff Nurse for its Nursing Home - Gascoigne House, Rathmines Dublin 6. The role focuses on providing person centred care to residents in a safe and efficient manner.

The Staff Nurse will develop care plans, collaborate with healthcare assistants and multi-disciplinary teams, and participate in quality and safety systems. Garda Vetting and a medical clearance are required. This is a full-time position – 39 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Nursing Qualification and registration with the NMBI are required.
• Knowledge of residential care legislation and HIQA standards is advantageous.
• Experience with dementia care and older people is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement person-centred care plans for residents.
• Collaborate with care assistants and multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Contribute to quality and safety management systems and activities.
