Job summary

Horizons is seeking highly motivated Staff Nurses to join our teams across Cork City, supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

Qualifications

• Possess a third level qualification in Nursing (level 8) and be on the live register of the NMBI.
• Have up-to-date permissions to work and reside in Ireland at time of application.
• Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to meet changing needs of Horizons' service users.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
• Proficient IT skills and a full clean driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Support children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and outcomes.
• Promote inclusion and empower people to participate in their communities.
