Ethos Care Group in Ireland is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a residential nursing home. You will lead by example, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met with the highest clinical standards.

This role is ideal for nurses currently living in Ireland with relevant clinical experience and a passion for elderly care. You will mentor care staff, maintain accurate records, and contribute to audits and quality improvement

You will lead by example, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. This role is ideally suited to nurses currently living in Ireland who have relevant clinical experience and are passionate about providing exceptional care to older persons.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent nursing care while promoting residents' dignity, independence and respect
• Support, mentor and supervise healthcare assistants and care staff
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records
• Assist with audits, inspections and quality improvement initiatives
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for residents
• Contribute to a positive, safe and person-centred care environment

About You

• Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN
• Currently living in Ireland and eligible to work in Ireland
• Previous nursing home, older persons' care, rehabilitation or acute hospital experience desirable
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care practices is advantageous
• Excellent clinical, communication and documentation skills
• Strong teamwork and organisational abilities
• Passionate about caring for older people and enhancing quality of life
• Flexible to work a range of shifts, including days, nights and weekends across a 7-day roster

You will be confident working within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate sound clinical judgement, and be dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice. Applicants must hold an active NMBI registration and be currently eligible to work in Ireland. Experience working within the Irish healthcare system is desirable.
