Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, DevOps to design and scale multi-region, multi-provider platforms, and to automate build, deployment, and monitoring for reliable product delivery.

You will own the development infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security-focused practices, collaborating with product engineering to ensure code is production-ready and that DevOps principles are adopted across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on DevOps or related roles.
• Strong experience in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience managing multi-region service platforms.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and AWS.
• Experience with Docker, Rkt, or OCI runtimes on Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Security awareness and secure-by-design mindset.
• Experience with Agile development of distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Ripple’s multi-region, multi-provider service platforms.
• Supply build and development of tools for automation, monitoring, and instrumentation.
• Lead discovery of next-generation solutions and work with wider engineering teams.
• Build and automate platform and lifecycle services with data-driven state management.
• Collaborate with product engineering to ensure production readiness.
• Adopt and promote DevOps-first principles throughout the organization.
