Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a Staff CPU Verification Engineer to define, model, and verify CPU and SOC level micro-architectures. You will collaborate with CPU/SoC Architects to ensure launch readiness and deliver scalable DV environments.

You will lead verification efforts, develop test plans, and bring up DV environments, including stimulus, checkers, and coverage. This role emphasizes independence and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced setting in Cork, Ireland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand CPU and SOC concepts with Architects.
• Develop verification plans and testbenches for functional domains.
• Create verification environments with stimulus, checkers, and assertions.
• Execute verification plans, run regressions, and debug failures.
• Track DV progress using metrics like bugs and coverage.
