Job summary

AMCS Group in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE Tech Lead to mentor engineers, drive reliability, and influence architectural decisions across cloud platforms. You will own incident management, monitoring improvements, and cost-aware scaling, while aligning with product goals.

The role requires deep cloud expertise, strong leadership, and hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, automation tools, and observability stacks to deliver robust, scalable services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE with leadership experience.
• Cloud providers: Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana.
• Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define SLIs, SLOs and SLAs with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead through complex incidents and improve MTTD/MTTR.
• Evolve monitoring and observability stack for reliability.
• Drive RCAs and postmortems to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure high availability and performance of platforms.
• Apply AI/LLM to support incident triage and runbooks.
• Cost optimization across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Architectural oversight and guiding design decisions.
