Job summary

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) Compute team is seeking a results-driven Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead a 6-8 person group focused on virtualization and container infrastructure, scaling to meet Apple's service demands. Based in Dublin, you will set the technical direction for the team's platforms and own SLOs/SLIs and error budgets.

You will mentor engineers, drive performance reviews, and partner with senior engineering leaders to raise reliability and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in cloud computing and engineering teams.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise services in *nix environments.
• Proven ability to mentor teams, own accountability, and drive improvement.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6-8 senior Site Reliability Engineers and plan career growth.
• Set tech direction and roadmaps for platforms/services.
• Own SLOs/SLIs and error budgets, drive accountability when budgets are breached.
• Participate in on-call rotation and improve on-call experience.
