Job summary

Mastercard in Ireland is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to support production readiness and automation across the BizOps SRE transformation. You will partner with developers to design, build, implement and sustain services with strong availability, capacity, performance and monitoring.

Join a global team to drive proactive reliability improvements, reduce MTTR and automate deployment and incident response, while collaborating with product and operations teams in a financial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a financial environment preferred.
• Analytical/problem solving and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience across development, operations and product teams is desired.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception to refinement.
• Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback on operational gaps.
• Support services before go-live through design consulting and capacity planning.
• Maintain services by measuring availability, latency and health.
• Scale systems through automation and evolution for reliability and velocity.
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Collaborate with a global team across geographies and time zones.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior resources.
