Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to bridge software development and IT operations. You will build automated, scalable systems to improve performance and availability of critical platforms from a home-based Ireland location.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python/Go/Java/Bash).
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Networking concepts including TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts to automate provisioning, configuration and incident response.
• Monitor performance and set up alerting for rapid detection and resolution.
• Reduce MTTR via improved monitoring and troubleshooting of distributed systems.
• Scale infrastructure and support capacity planning for high availability.
• Analyze logs, traces, and metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Define, monitor and maintain SLIs/SLOs for critical services.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve service performance and delivery.
