Job summary

McKesson Medical-Surgical Inc. in Ireland is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba specialist to lead administration and optimization of Ariba solutions across sourcing, procurement, contracts, and supplier management.

You will partner with stakeholders to improve procurement operations, support integrations with SAP S/4HANA, MM, and FI, and develop analytics to drive spend visibility and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba solutions in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing, Procurement, Contracts, SLM/SLP, or Ariba Network.
• Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA, MM, or FI modules.
• Strong understanding of P2P, S2C, and supplier management processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable platform solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Lead administration and optimization of SAP Ariba solutions, including Sourcing, Buying, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), and Procurement processes.
• Manage supplier onboarding, qualification, risk assessment, and lifecycle management workflows.
• Configure and support SAP Ariba Network capabilities, supplier enablement activities, and trading partner adoption.
• Partner with business stakeholders to improve procurement operations, compliance, and user experience.
• Lead integration activities between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA, including Materials Management (MM) and Finance (FI) processes.
• Develop procurement analytics, spend visibility dashboards, and reporting solutions to support informed decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and third‑party partners to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent platform issues.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement across procurement operations.

Basic Requirements

• 7+ years of experience supporting, implementing, or administering SAP Ariba solutions in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing, Procurement, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM/SLP), or Ariba Network.
• Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, MM, or FI modules.
• Strong understanding of procure‑to‑pay (P2P), source‑to‑contract (S2C), and supplier management processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable platform solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver outcomes in cross‑functional environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• SAP Ariba certification(s).
• Experience with Guided Buying, Catalog Management, Spend Analysis, or Supplier Risk modules.
• Knowledge of procurement transformation and digital procurement initiatives.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), APIs, middleware, or integration tools.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and dashboard development capabilities.
• Experience supporting supplier enablement and large‑scale onboarding programs.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and product management practices.
• Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, or regulated industries.
