Job summary

McKesson Corporation in Ireland is seeking a senior Solution Architect to lead FP&A and finance transformation initiatives across SAP ecosystems.

You will design and implement end-to-end FP&A solutions using SAC, BPC, Datasphere, PaPM and SAP S/4HANA FI/CO, drive business cases, and mentor large technical teams.

Hybrid or remote work is supported; the base pay range is €72,000–€120,000 with a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, application development, or enterprise systems design.
• Design and development experience around FP&A processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting) involving SAC, BPC, Datasphere, PaPM.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and FI/CO modules.
• Experience with enterprise data modeling, reporting, and analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated success building business cases and performing financial/analytical modeling.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation or ERP implementations.
• Strong expertise in data integration, APIs, and enterprise application architecture.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions across the SDLC.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams and influence architecture standards.

Basic Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, application development, or enterprise systems design
• Design and development experience around implementing FP&A processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting) involving SAC, BPC, Datasphere, PaPM
• Proven experience and understanding of SAP S/4HANA and finance modules (FI/CO)
• Experience with enterprise data modeling, reporting, and analytics platforms
• Demonstrated success building business cases and performing financial/analytical modeling
• Experience leading large-scale transformation or ERP implementations
• Strong expertise in data integration, APIs, and enterprise application architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Exposure to regulated industries and compliance-driven environments
• Ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams

• Experience mentoring teams and driving architectural best practices
