Job summary

Opoura is seeking a Power Systems Engineer in Dublin to perform electricity network analysis, power-flow modelling, and grid studies. You will contribute to customer-facing studies, model development, and validation within a small, focused team.

You will collaborate with a Principal Engineer and an Account Manager, applying engineering judgement and clear communication to deliver actionable findings for grid connection projects in Ireland and the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with electricity networks and power system analysis.
• Solid technical foundation in power systems fundamentals.
• Ability to translate analyses into clear technical outputs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver power system studies including power-flow modelling and grid connection assessments.
• Develop, validate, and maintain electrical network models.
• Translate analysis into clear technical findings and client reports.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve technical questions and ensure deliverable quality.
• Use Python and other tools to improve modelling methods and automation.
