  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling payroll data.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries from employees, managers, and business partners, ensuring service levels are met.
  • Document and maintain the Payroll Procedures Manual.
  • Coordinate with P&C Operations, Total Rewards, Stock Administration, Tax and P&C Partners for accurate data transfers.
  • Prepare monthly general ledger files and reconciliations.
  • Submit banking transactions for net pay and tax payments.
  • Compile payroll data for statutory audits and quarterly SOX submissions.
  • Participate in projects including worldwide system implementations and upgrades.

Location: Cork. Hybrid - 2/3 days a week on site. 6 Month Contract.

The Role

The Sr. Analyst, Payroll is a senior-level position on the EMEA Payroll Team, responsible for leading payroll activities to ensure the successful execution of the monthly payroll process across several countries. The role involves both analytical and administrative tasks, requiring attention to detail and confidentiality. The Sr. Analyst will work closely with P&C Operations, Total Rewards, and other partners to ensure compliance and accurate data transfers, while also participating in projects such as system implementations and upgrades.

Responsibilities
  • Handle inquiries from employees, managers, and business partners, ensuring compliance with department service levels.
  • Document and maintain the Payroll Procedures Manual.
  • Work closely with P&C Operations, Total Rewards, Stock Administration, Tax, and P&C Partners to ensure accurate data transfers.
  • Prepare monthly general ledger files and reconciliations.
  • Submit banking transactions for employee net pay and tax payments.
  • Compile payroll data for statutory audits and coordinate data submission for quarterly SOX audits.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience processing Payroll for the EMEA region with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • High-volume monthly payroll processing across multiple EMEA locations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll practices and procedures across EMEA region.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Positive and solution-oriented communication style.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and under time pressure.
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Ensure compliance with all SOX controls.
  • Work as part of a team, rotating responsibilities to ensure flexibility is maintained within the function.
  • Active role in Payroll related projects.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
