  • Collaboration: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to care and support for each child.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to professional and organizational standards.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative programs and services that meet the evolving needs of children with disabilities within the network.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language therapy.

Requirements:

I am looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to working in the community as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Is enthusiastic, with excellent assessment and communication skills.
  • Is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children with disabilities.
  • Is excited about working with a wide range of children: children with developmental co-ordination difficulties, sensory and behavioural difficulties, autism and children with severe physical and complex needs in both early years and of school age.
