Job summary

Cpl Healthcare, partnering with Tusla Child and Family Agency, seeks Special Care Workers for the Dublin West (Lucan), North (Portrane) and Limerick centres. The roles focus on short-term, stabilising intervention in a secure, therapeutic environment for children in care aged 11–17.

Applicants from new graduates to experienced professionals are welcome. You will help develop and implement Care and Placement Plans while safeguarding the rights and welfare of each young person.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social care or a related qualification.
• Or hold one of the listed qualifications with 18 months practice in the previous five years.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans.
• Promote the rights of each young person within the centre.
• Promote physical, emotional, social and educational welfare of each young person.

Youth and Community work qualification

BA (Hons) Youth and Community Development

BA (Hons) Psychology

Addiction Studies (Level 7)

BA (Hons) Counselling and Addiction Studies
