Job summary

Monread Fare in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking a Part Time Sales Assistant to join our team during the summer period and beyond.

The role focuses on delivering high levels of customer service, processing payments, and creating a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. If you are motivated, flexible with early, late, weekday and weekend shifts, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working face to face with the public in a customer service role.

• Receive payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers.
• Computing and recording transactions with 100% accuracy.
• Cash handling and safe custody of collected cash.
• Build customer loyalty by providing a great, friendly and professional service; be attentive to customer needs and exceed expectations.
• Adhere to cashier policies and procedures at all times.
• Delight customers – ensure they leave with a smile.

Monread Fare, Naas, Co. Kildare are now seeking a Part Time Sales Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual, who is fully flexible and available to work a range of early, late, weekday and weekend shifts during the summer period and beyond. The main function of the role is to ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered to our customers at all times.

Our sales assistants are in many ways the face of our business. The job involves interacting with our customers, accepting and processing payments for goods and providing excellent customer service experiences.

Your Job – your tasks will include:

• Receiving payment by cash, credit-cards, vouchers.
• Computing and recording transactions and ensuring 100% accuracy for all register transactions.
• Cash handling and safe custody of collecting cash.
• Build customer loyalty by providing a great, friendly and professional service; be attentive to customer's needs and aim to exceed customer expectations.
• Adherence to the Cashier Policies and Procedures at all times.
• Delighting our customers – making sure they leave with a smile on their face!
• Organisation – helping out where needed.
• Teamwork – giving 110% is required when you're on shift to help each other out!
• Cleaning – our customers expect a spotless, hygienic environment to relax in. You will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met!
