Monread Fare in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking a Part Time Sales Assistant to join our team during the summer period and beyond.

The role focuses on delivering high levels of customer service, processing payments, and creating a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. If you are motivated, flexible with early, late, weekday and weekend shifts, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working face to face with the public in a customer service role.
• Customer orientated – ability to build customer loyalty through great, friendly and professional service.
• Confident and people oriented – warm, friendly demeanor and proactive in engaging with customers.
• Hardworking, conscientious, and self-motivated with energy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Receive payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers.
• Computing and recording transactions with 100% accuracy.
• Cash handling and safe custody of collected cash.
• Build customer loyalty by providing a great, friendly and professional service; be attentive to customer needs and exceed expectations.
• Adhere to cashier policies and procedures at all times.
• Delight customers – ensure they leave with a smile.
