Job summary

O'Donoghue Ring Collection is seeking a qualified Spa Therapist for the Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa. The role involves delivering professional spa treatments, ensuring guest safety and comfort, and maintaining a tranquil spa environment.

We welcome applicants with at least 1 year of spa experience, ITec or equivalent qualifications, and strong customer service and communication skills. Fluency in English and legal rights to work in Ireland are required; sales experience is a plus.

O'Donoghue Ring Collection is home to Hotels, Apartments, Spa, Restaurants & Bars centrally located in the vibrant town centre of Killarney and Castleisland, Co. Kerry. Our company philosophy is built upon three core values: employee experience, customer experience and standards of excellence.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Spa Therapist to join our team at the Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa, reporting to the Spa Manager. We are looking for full-time and part-time Spa Therapists. Working hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and 11am-8pm. The Spa at the Killarney Plaza Hotel is an award-winning Spa with six treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, and a relaxation garden.

Role Overview

This role combines spa treatment delivery with excellent customer service while ensuring the spa environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming for all guests.

Guest Care & Treatments

• Carry out all spa treatments to a high professional standard.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of guests before, during, and after treatments.
• Start and finish treatments on time while providing a relaxing experience.
• Promote spa facilities and upsell retail products and additional treatments.

Cleanliness & Preparation

• Maintain immaculate cleanliness in treatment rooms, locker rooms, relaxation areas, and common spaces.
• Replace used towels, linens, and spa supplies.
• Restock oils, lotions, toiletries, and refreshments.
• Ensure guest areas are tidy, organized, and welcoming.

Operational Support

• Assist spa therapists and reception staff when required.
• Report maintenance issues or low supplies to management.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude when working with guests and colleagues.
• Be flexible and available to work according to business needs.

About you

• Minimum 1-year experience as a Spa therapist, ideally in the Hospitality industry.
• ITEC or equivalent qualifications are essential.
• Hands‑on experience in face and body therapies.
• Experience in sales will be considered an asset.
• Fluent in English is essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive working attitude.
• Legal right to work in Ireland.
