Job summary

Fresco is seeking a Solutions Engineer / Solution Architect for a 4–6 month FTC or contractor role. You will lead technical discovery, design practical solutions using Fresco’s platform, and deliver demonstrations to support complex sales opportunities.

You will collaborate with Account Management, Product, Delivery and Engineering, translating customer requirements into implementable architectures. Immediate start or within 2 weeks is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Solution Architecture, or related roles in SaaS/tech.
• Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations and data flows.
• Experience with enterprise or mid‑market customers through complex sales and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise and mid‑market prospects and document requirements.
• Collaborate with Account Management and Sales to craft compelling technical solutions.
• Design solutions using Fresco’s platform, APIs, integrations and data capabilities.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, proofs‑of‑concept and integration walks.
• Translate requirements into clear solution proposals, architectures and implementation plans.
• Identify risks, dependencies and challenges early in the sales process.
• Work with Product, Engineering and Delivery to ensure feasible solutions and alignment with customer expectations.
• Support onboarding, configuration and integration activities where needed.
• Capture customer feedback and requirements for Product/Engineering discussions.
• Create reusable technical documentation and integration guides.

About The Role

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer / Solution Architect to join Fresco on a 4–6 month FTC or contractor basis.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role focused on supporting complex sales opportunities, understanding customer requirements and designing practical technical solutions using Fresco’s platform.

You’ll work closely with Account Management, Product, Delivery and Engineering to lead technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations and implementation planning. You’ll be expected to make an immediate impact, so candidates must be available immediately or within 2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise and mid-market prospects, understanding their business, technical and integration requirements.


• Partner with Account Management and Sales throughout the sales cycle to develop compelling technical solutions.


• Design solutions using Fresco’s platform, APIs, integrations and data capabilities.


• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, proofs‑of‑concept and integration walkthroughs.


• Translate customer requirements into clear solution proposals, technical architectures and implementation approaches.


• Identify technical risks, dependencies and challenges early in the sales process.


• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with customer expectations.


• Support complex technical onboarding, configuration and integration activities where required.


• Bring customer feedback and technical requirements into Product and Engineering discussions.


• Create reusable technical documentation, integration guides and best‑practice materials.

About You

• 6+ years’ experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting or Implementation within a SaaS or technology environment.


• Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations and data flows.


• Experience working directly with enterprise or mid‑market customers through complex sales and implementation processes.


• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.


• Comfortable leading customer presentations, demonstrations and technical workshops.


• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how technical solutions support successful sales outcomes.


• Highly hands‑on, pragmatic and comfortable working across Sales, Product, Engineering and Delivery.


• Able to operate independently and make an immediate impact in a fast‑moving environment.


• Experience with hardware, IoT or connected devices is an advantage.
