Job summary

Protex AI in Ireland is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Technical Operations team. You will support Fortune 500 clients, diagnosing complex issues, and collaborating with Engineering, Product and Client Success to deliver reliable AI-powered safety solutions.

You will debug camera-related and networking issues on client installations using Linux and AWS, monitor systems with CloudWatch, and contribute to knowledge bases while traveling for on-site client meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years in a technical support or engineering role.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site visits.
Demonstrated AWS experience.
Experience with Python.
Experience with Linux/Unix and Git, including networking and the CLI.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Client Success to resolve issues.
Support client-facing teams with explanations of complex problems via calls, emails, and docs.
Debug camera-related and networking issues on client installations using Linux and AWS.
Monitor systems with AWS CloudWatch to identify root causes.
Troubleshoot edge-to-cloud integration issues ensuring uninterrupted performance.
Provide escalated technical support for installations and deployments.
Debug Python and JavaScript code to resolve client issues.
Document technical solutions for knowledge base.
