Job summary

Abrivia is seeking a German-speaking Solutions Engineer to join its AI team in Dublin. In this customer-facing pre-sales role, you will blend technical expertise with commercial insight to guide prospects through the buying journey, lead technical discovery, deliver compelling demos and POCs, and craft scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Fluent German (C1 level or above).
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting or Solution Architecture.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Understanding of APIs, REST, authentication and system integrations.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud technologies and AI platforms.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business goals, challenges and technical requirements.
• Partner with Sales throughout the pre-sales cycle, providing technical expertise to help qualify, progress and expand opportunities.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and develop customer-specific Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI solution designs and recommend appropriate architectures.
• Advise customers on APIs, integrations, authentication and data flows.
• Support initial discussions around security, compliance, data governance and technical best practices.
• Develop reusable demos, industry-focused use cases and solution playbooks for the wider sales organisation.
• Produce clear technical documentation, solution designs and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to ensure customer success.
• Identify opportunities to broaden solution scope and maximise customer value.

Solutions Engineer - AI (German-Speaking) Location: Dublin Type: Full-Time About the Role We're looking for a German-speaking Solutions Engineer to join our growing AI team, partnering closely with Sales to help customers unlock the value of AI-driven solutions. This is a customer-facing pre-sales role where you'll combine technical expertise with commercial awareness to guide prospects through the buying journey. You'll lead technical discovery, design scalable solutions, deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (POCs), and provide trusted technical guidance throughout the sales process. You'll also contribute to the wider sales organisation by developing reusable demos, industry-specific use cases and best-practice playbooks that can be leveraged across future customer engagements.

What You'll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Understanding of APIs, REST, authentication and system integrations.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud technologies and AI platforms.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• A consultative, problem-solving mindset with a passion for customer success.
• Nice to Have Experience delivering technical product demonstrations and customer Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Exposure to AI, machine learning or API-first platforms.
• Experience working with JSON, API testing or troubleshooting integrations.
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• Experience creating reusable technical documentation, playbooks or customer enablement materials.
