Job summary

Elk Recruitment in Dublin seeks a QC Electrician with Solar PV experience to join our growing renewable energy team. You will inspect, test, commission, certify, and quality‑check residential and commercial solar installations, ensuring compliance with Safe Electric, SEAI and current electrical standards.

Based in Rathcoole, the role is full‑time and permanent, offering ongoing training, a clear progression path, a company vehicle with fuel card, and the chance to work on a fast‑growing sector.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician (Ireland) with valid QC/Certifier status.
• Experience with Solar PV installations and electrical testing/certification.
• Full clean driving licence; Safe Pass and Manual Handling desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sign off Solar PV installations.
• Perform testing, fault-finding and commissioning of PV systems.
• Ensure compliance with Safe Electric, SEAI, and current electrical regs.
• Complete certification and installation documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and QA support to installation teams.
• Conduct site audits and maintain safety standards.
