Reperio Human Capital Ltd is partnering with a client in Limerick to hire a seasoned Software Engineering Manager who will shape the next generation of products. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team across Embedded Software, Application Development, DevOps and Testing.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering (including embedded systems), 5+ years leading cross-disciplinary teams, and strong architectural experience in embedded C/C++, RTOS, and connected products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, including embedded systems.
• 5+ years leading cross-disciplinary teams across multiple disciplines.
• Strong architecture for embedded C/C++ and RTOS for connected products.
• Exposure to Cloud/DevOps including Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Experience with test automation, secure development practices and Agile delivery.

My client is hiring a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to help shape the next generation of products. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team across Embedded Software, Application Development, DevOps, and Testing.

Essential Experience

• 10+ years in software engineering, including embedded systems and software-enabled products.
• 5+ years leading teams that span several disciplines, ideally through growth and change.
• Strong software architecture for embedded C/C++ and RTOS, and for connected products.
• Solid exposure to Cloud/DevOps technology including Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CICD.
• Experience with test automation, secure development practices and Agile delivery.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in regulated environments like automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.
• Experience growing teams and scaling software functions.
• Experience in IoT or cloud connected products.
